Project Director:  Andrew Burke
Andrew is the owner of A.C. Burke & Company, a producer of gardening related videos. He recently created a five-part video series on landscaping which has won 12 national awards, including three Telly Awards.  MFA in Film/TV from UCLA.  MA in Communications Management from USC's Annenberg School for Communications.

Host and Presenter:  Paul Epsom
Paul is Gardening Correspondent on the Emmy Award winning PBS series The Victory Garden.   Winner of the Garden Writers Association Garden Globe awards for work as an on-air gardening correspondent in 2003, 2004, and 2005.  He also won the 2006 GWA Gold Award for Best Talent.

Associate Producer:  Renee Glass
Renee is Associate Producer on all of the A.C. Burke & Company programs.  She is experienced in project management, business accounting, and computer information systems.  MBA from California State University Northridge.

Videographer:  Tony Peck 
Tony has been a Director of Photography on a variety of projects from music videos to documentary, educational and corporate presentations.  His past clients include Sprint, Atlantic Records, Sony, Glencoe/McGraw-Hill, WM Keck Foundation, Corwin Press, and CBS.  BFA in Film from Art Center College of Design. 


Production Consultant:  Douglas Miller 
Douglas has served as Writer, Producer or Director on a wide variety of documentary programs for television.  His credits include programs for The History Channel, and the documentary specials Frank Lloyd Wright’s Sacred Spaces, a film about architecture and When Stand Up Stood Out, a feature about stand up comedy.

Editorial/Creative Consultant:  Curtis Freilich 
Curtis has over 20 yeas experience as Director or Editor on television documentaries, including Off the Beaten Path, The Gullah, and Clean Slate.  Extensive network film/video editing experience, including credits on Moonlighting, The Wonder Years, 83 Hours ‘til Dawn and The Story of the Jackson Five.  He is an Instructor of documentary production at the UCLA Extension Entertainment Studies Program. 

Rose History Consultant:  Clair Martin 
Clair is Curator of the Rose & Perennial Gardens at the Huntington Library, Art Collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino, California.  His publications include English Roses for Southern California, 100 English Roses for the American Garden, and 100 Old Roses for the American Garden.  He has participated in a number of television productions over the years, including the BBC miniseries, The Quest for the Rose and the PBS series Gardens of the World

Rose Cultivation Consultant:  Steve Jones 
Steve is the recent President of the American Rose Society, a national organization dedicated to enhancing our knowledge and enjoyment of the rose.  He has one of the largest libraries of rose-related publications in the country and is the author of many articles on roses.  In addition, he serves as a Technical Advisor for Ortho’s handbook, All About Roses

Rose Hybridization Consultant:  Tom Carruth 
Tom is one of the world’s foremost rose hybridizers.  As Director of Research for Weeks’ Roses, he has created more All-America Rose Selections Gold Medal winners than any living hybridizer.  He has contributed to a variety of books and articles about the rose, including Simply Roses.  Tom was recently President of All-America Rose Selections (AARS), the rose industry’s non-profit information and trade group representing all major rose producers in the United States.
